The beautiful city of Bath is a UNESCO World Heritage city because of its world-famous Roman spa complex and the architectural importance of its stunning Georgian city centre. The city became a fashionable spa resort in the 18th century and has been one of Britain’s most popular tourist destinations ever since.
Prior Park College sits in landscaped gardens overlooking the city. It was built around the mansion house built for the entrepreneur Ralph Allen, who was responsible for the construction of much of the city centre. Prior Park offers the perfect calm setting for our Intensive English course and offers Trinity GESE exams and preparation.
INTENSIVE ENGLISH course
Students who want to accelerate their English learning can elect to take our Intensive English Course with four more hours of afternoon lessons each week. Students get more time to develop their English in smaller more personal groups. Alternatively, you can also sign up to the Trinity GESE Exam course and have the opportunity to gain an internationally recognised qualification in spoken English*.
For young adults
Older teens need extra challenges and space to express themselves as young adults. For this reason, we include a programme of separate activities specifically aimed at 16-17 year olds, including additional afternoon free time in Bath, photography/design competitions and practical opportunities to practice their English. Social evenings such as going to the cinema or bowling are offered at a supplement.
The Explorer Programme gives students extra opportunities to visit some of the many interesting places and towns in the local area.
For Harry Potter
For the lovers of Harry Potter we are offering an optional excursion to visit the Warner Brother Studios where the famous series was filmed. Walk through the sets and see how they made everything come to life!
MULTISPORT ACTIVITY PROGRAMME
Get involved with our multi-sport activity programme playing Kwik Cricket, tag rugby, volleyball, basketball, football or trying modern dance.
Learn how to use a bow and arrow like the heroes of English history and literature. Join in the fun and learn how to shoot an arrow! Free within your stay.
